Green Juice

I recently got into the new craze of "green juice" which is rich in immune-boosting nutrients. It's great for providing energy, detoxifying and alkalising your body. Green drinks get their vibrant colour from chlorophyll, a nutrient-rich pigment found in all leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, celery and lettuce, that cleans the body of harmful toxins, oxygenates the blood and helps boost energy levels.

Here is the first recipe of Green Juice for you to try. I was a bit put off with the idea of drinking "spinach" & "basil" initially, but the orange juice actually helps to mask away that and in doing so, making the drink tasted so good!

Ingredients:
400mL of freshly squeezed orange juice
a handful of baby spinach
½ cup of fresh basil

Blend all ingredients together, including fresh orange juice.

Enjoy!

    1. Thank you for your comment Green Supplements. I don't claimed to be a health expert nor do I stick to a specific dietary regimen, this is just a "craze" that I am going through at the moment, amongst other things that I enjoy eating and drinking ^.^
