Meet Fresh

I have always been a fan of Asian desserts in particularly Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai desserts, so when I discovered Meet Fresh one day... I decided to give it a go.

The place seems to be packed out all the time, so my initial thought was "it must be good!"

Having looked through the menu, MM and I decided to go for what we usually like - herbal jelly and tofu as a based.

His - Signature Herbal Dessert (Taro Balls), chilled.

Mine - Red Bean Tofu Pudding, hot ...well it was meant to be hot but mine wasn't at all.

I forgot the name of this drink, but the taste was rather strange. I didn't know whether to drink it like that or added the milk in - either ways, I didn't like it.

The serving size for the tofu was tiny and has too much sugary syrup; the taro balls however were quite chewy and tasted artificial too.

MM and I didn't find any of our desserts was that spectacular. In term of taste, the flavours were just average, definitely isn't worth all that hype about.

  1. I've been meaning to check this place out but been a bit hesitant after the not so great experience at Taro Taro. I might keep it on the backburner a bit longer!

    1. One of the best Asian desserts I ever tasted was at Honeymoon Dessert in Langham Place, Mongkok but as far as Perth go, you can try Sweet Fix (around the corner from Meet Fresh) - they do a pretty good HK desserts if you are keen to try something Kristy ^.^
